Bentley has been building performance cars from its very beginnings, with W O Bentley’s aspiration for ‘a fast car, a good car, best in its class’. The first car to bear his name pulled out of New Street Mews, London in 1919. From modest beginnings, the company moved from strength to strength – in a relentless pursuit of both luxury and performance. They have enjoyed five victories at Le Mans in the 1920s, plus a sixth in 2003.
All of their cars represent W O Bentley’s original bloodline, including the handcrafting, coach-building and performance engine design that features in every Bentley. With the Bentley ‘Blue Train’, Bentley Blower, and R-Type Continental to name just a few, Bentley has produced some of the world’s most desirable classic motor cars.
