Art investments continue to rise

This month saw some records broken as art investments continued their recent rises.

Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Salvator Mundi’ fetched a staggering $450 million in New York – despite their being questions raised over the painting’s authenticity. At Christie’s auction, again in New York, their recent sale raised $479.3 million for 60 lots surpassing its low end estimates.

Investors, it would appear, are continuing to invest in art, classic cars and other items, as recent auctions illustrate, as bank interest rates continue to remain low.
